Alan Dzagoev will not fly to St. Petersburg

Russia's national team winger Alan Dzagoev will not fly with the rest of St. Petersburg for the second World Cup team match of A-2018. The hosts face Egypt on June 19 at Krestovski stadium.

Dzogoev was the champion for Sbornaya in the World Cup's first match against Saudi Arabia, but was forced to replace for the first hour because of a thigh trauma. Further research has shown that the 27-year-old midwife will not be able to take part in the meeting and will continue treatment in Moscow. Most likely, Dzogoev will not be in line for the last match of the Russians from the group stage against Uruguay. The hopes are that Alan will recover for the elimination phase if Russia is ahead.
